Sashiko Thread Fine Ecru 80m

Olympus Fine Sashiko Thread in Ecru offers a soft, natural alternative to traditional bright white thread. Its warm cream tone creates an elegant contrast against indigo, navy, black and richly coloured fabrics while blending gently with linen, calico and other neutral cloth.

Made in Japan from 100% quality cotton, this fine sashiko thread has three strands compared with the six strands found in regular Olympus sashiko thread. Its finer weight is ideal for smaller stitches, closely worked designs and intricate patterns where a crisp yet delicate finish is wanted.

The generous 80-metre ball provides plenty of smooth, comfortable thread for sashiko samplers, decorative panels, visible mending and other creative hand-sewn projects.
