Sashiko Thread Fine Airforce Blue 80m

Olympus Fine Sashiko Thread in Airforce Blue is a soft, muted blue that brings a calm and beautifully understated finish to hand stitching. It works particularly well with white, cream, grey and natural fabrics, while creating a gentle tonal effect on denim and indigo cloth.

Made in Japan from 100% quality cotton, this fine sashiko thread has three strands compared with the six strands found in regular Olympus sashiko thread. Its finer weight allows smaller stitches, crisp lines and intricate patterns to remain clearly defined without making delicate designs appear heavy.

The generous 80-metre ball provides plenty of smooth, comfortable thread for sashiko samplers, decorative panels, visible mending and other creative hand-sewn projects.
