Premium Fusible Cotton Blend Batting - Queen

The Heirloom Premium Fusible 80/20 Cotton Blend Batting – Queen Size makes quilt preparation faster and easier while delivering the soft feel and beautiful finish quilters love.

Made from 80% natural cotton and 20% polyester, this double-sided fusible batting allows both the quilt top and backing to bond securely in place with a warm iron — eliminating the need for traditional pinning or spray basting.

Needle punched and lightly resin bonded for strength and durability, this medium loft batting provides excellent stitch definition and a soft, classic quilt appearance suitable for both hand and machine quilting.

Helpful Tips

Simply press from the centre outward, holding the iron for a few seconds in each area to activate the fusible resin. Allow the quilt to cool before quilting.

Closer quilting creates a flatter finish, while wider quilting spacing allows for a slightly loftier look.

Please Note:
Pre-washing will remove the fusible properties and the batting will behave like standard Heirloom Premium 80/20 batting.
