The Kimberley range tends to work well when you want a batik to carry colour through a quilt without reading as a print first. This one has that same easy depth, which makes it useful in both feature areas and linking sections.
It is particularly good for piecing where plain solids would feel abrupt. A very workable batik when the project needs atmosphere rather than obvious pattern.
