The studio-designed pattern is pre-stencilled onto textured navy Tsumugi cotton in colour 2008. Traditional white or ecru sashiko thread will create a crisp, classic contrast, while coloured or variegated threads can give the design a fresh contemporary finish.

There is no need to trace or transfer the pattern. Simply follow the marked lines with your stitches, then wash the completed block to remove the guidelines and reveal the finished design clearly.
