The Woven Garden – Irish Chain Quilt Pattern PDF

The Woven Garden is an Irish Chain quilt pattern by Carrie Newman of Everything Fabric. Golden nine-patches and sandy squares frame three gently woven green vines, coral flowers and curved rosebuds, with a lively floral border. Make a 42 × 42-inch square table topper or wall quilt (106.7 × 106.7 cm).

Jelly Roll and strip-roll friendly: one standard 40-strip roll provides enough for the nine-patch piecing if it includes eight darker and seven contrasting lighter 2½-inch strips, each at least 34 inches usable. Background squares, border, appliqué, binding, backing and batting are additional. A separate scrappy piecing option uses individual 2½-inch squares; flowers, buds and leaves are ideal for small fabric scraps.
