Before you begin
Check that the fabric, threads, dyes and trims can all be washed. Stitch a small sample, trim excess support and rinse using the product instructions. Store unused wash-away material dry.

As Sulky's heaviest water-soluble film stabiliser, Ultra Solvy provides approximately four times the stability of standard Solvy, making it the go-to choice for freestanding lace, thread painting, thread sketching, dense embroidery, and projects where ordinary wash-away stabilisers simply aren't enough.
Its clear, translucent film makes design placement easy while providing the strength needed to support intricate stitching without stretching, shifting, or distorting. Whether you're creating delicate lace ornaments, decorative monograms, embroidered patches, or elaborate machine embroidery designs, Ultra Solvy helps maintain crisp detail from the first stitch to the last.
One of its most useful features is the ability to work without a hoop in certain applications. Simply dampen the edges and Ultra Solvy will temporarily cling to fabric, making it ideal for difficult-to-hoop garments, collars, pockets, cuffs, and other awkward areas.
