Odicoat Waterproof Glue Gel 250ml

Turn a favourite fabric into a practical coated fabric. Odif OdiCoat adds a protective finish for projects such as cosmetic bags, toiletry pouches, placemats, aprons and tablecloths. The number of coats changes both the protection and the feel.

Choose the finish you want

• One coat: a protective, water-repellent finish.
• Two coats: a coated-canvas effect.
• Three coats: an oilcloth-style waterproof fabric finish.

Once treated, the fabric can be cut and sewn. OdiCoat can also be applied to suitable finished textile projects. A coated fabric does not automatically make seams and zips watertight.

Using OdiCoat

1. Test the coating on a scrap of your fabric to check its appearance and feel.
2. Protect your work surface, then spread the gel evenly with an OdiClette application card or a fine-haired brush.
3. Allow coats to dry and complete the heat-setting process according to the directions on your jar. Use suitable pressing paper to protect the design and your iron.
4. Once correctly heat-set, the treated fabric is machine washable at a maximum of 30°C.

Not suitable for thick velvet, suede or embossed fabrics. Check that your chosen fabric tolerates the required ironing temperature. Clean wet spills from the work surface with a damp cloth before they dry.
