Fusible appliqué petals add the detail, while the backing wraps to the front to create the sashing and binding. The binding is machine sewn, with no separate binding fabric needed.

The design is friendly to 10-inch squares and fat quarters, and the quilt-as-you-go method can put smaller batting pieces to work. Suitable for a confident beginner.
