Created specifically for use with the Edgewood Quilt Pattern, this handy pad contains 42 pre-printed foundation paper sheets, giving you clear sewing and trimming guides as you construct each block.

Foundation paper piecing is a wonderful technique for achieving sharp points, accurate angles and consistently sized blocks, particularly when a design includes shapes that can be fiddly to piece using traditional methods. Simply follow the printed foundation lines as you sew, then trim your block to size.

Each foundation produces a 7in x 7in unfinished block, finishing at 6½in x 6½in when sewn into the quilt.

Edgewood is also wonderfully versatile when it comes to fabric selection. The design works with 2½in precut strips, 10in squares, fat quarters or fabrics from your scrap collection, so you can choose the look that suits you.
