Cottage Cloth - Alabaster

Soft, warm and wonderfully versatile, Cottage Cloth – Alabaster is a beautiful light neutral from the much-loved Cottage Cloth collection by Renee Nanneman for Andover Fabrics.

Cottage Cloth has the wonderful appearance of a woven fabric, with subtle tonal variation and texture printed into the design. Alabaster brings that texture to a gentle creamy off-white background, giving you far more depth and interest than a plain solid while still behaving beautifully as a neutral.

This is one of those incredibly useful fabrics that can quietly pull an entire project together. Use it as a background for patchwork and appliqué, pair it with deeper Cottage Cloth colours, or mix it with florals, reproduction prints, country collections and modern fabrics.

The soft Alabaster colouring is particularly lovely when you want a light background without the starkness of a bright white.
