Add a little sparkle to something you will enjoy all year. HeatnBond Sparkle Paste by Jennifer Long of Sew A Story adds glittery detail to fabric, felt and paper—brush it on freehand or use a stencil for a defined motif.
Choose your colour: Fire Truck, Grass, Lilac, Night, Royal Blue, Snowflake or Teal. Each colour is sold separately in a 25ml (0.84 fl oz) jar. Select a colour to see its matching image and stock.
Make it personal
Try a butterfly on a fabric journal cover, a leaf on a little zip pouch, an initial on a reusable gift bag, or sparkling accents on a cushion or mini wall hanging. You can also follow selected details in a fabric print, adding shimmer to petals or leaves. Gallery project images are illustrative ideas; finished projects and tools are not included.
Apply, dry and heat-set on fabric
Apply to your chosen area with a brush or palette knife. Wash tools immediately in warm, soapy water.
Leave to dry for 1 hour.
Use a dry iron at the cotton setting, with no steam. Cover the design with HeatnBond Pressing Paper and press with medium-firm pressure for 60 seconds.
Allow 24 hours to cure before washing or using the finished design.
Once properly heat-set and cured, fabric designs are permanent and machine washable. Wash on a gentle cold/cool cycle and lay flat to dry. Test on a scrap first and use fabric that tolerates the required cotton-setting heat. Follow the jar instructions.
